Lab Module E: Alternative Energy — Lab 10. Solar Energy

Unit Sections

Welcome to the Solar Energy Lab!

As we close the course and this fifth module, we'll continue to think about alternative energy sources. We'll revisit solar energy, and look at the low technology applications of passive solar energy that are already in use in developing countries. In the lab, we'll build a basic suncatcher and perform a thermal experiment. Finally, you'll have an opportunity to reflect on your learning, and how your view of environmental science may have changed throughout the course.
