Welcome to the Carbon Dioxide Module!
Carbon Dioxide (CO2) is a colorless, odorless gas, and is a product of animal respiration. For example, when people breathe the air, they exhale Carbon Dioxide. The plants and trees of the forests absorb Carbon Dioxide, and in turn release Oxygen for us to breathe as part of photosynthesis. It's a beautiful thing!
So, what do you think happens when humans add additional Carbon Dioxide to the atmosphere from the burning of fossil fuels, and simultaneously clear the forests for agriculture and urban development? Read on...
