PA110 - Civil Litigation I
Civil litigation is a complex subject. Understanding the civil law process is important to paralegals and individuals who want to learn more about their rights when bringing or defending a lawsuit. This Civil Litigation I course will introduce the topics of parties to a civil suit, jurisdiction, the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure, informal and formal discovery, legal documents such as the complaint, answer, and motions, and the jury selection process.
